Donald Dean Bitz

Born in Monroe, Don was the son of Edward and Loretta (Brancheau) Bitz. A graduate of Monroe High School, Don faithfully served our country in the United States Army. He married the love of his life, Shirley Owens, on July 26, 1969. Don had worked for Ford Motor Company, Allore Funeral Home, he drove ambulance for Noble Ambulance Company and worked for the Monroe Police Department. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and enjoyed working in the yard. Don leaves to cherish his memory, Shirley, his wife of the past 50 years; as well as his siblings: Larry (Linda) Bitz, Robert Bitz, Francis (Carolyn) Bitz, Ronald (Sharon) Bitz and Nancy (Randy) Angerer. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings: Richard Bitz, Joseph Bitz, Edward Bitz and Beth Ann Werstein. Memorial contributions in honor of Don may be made to his family.
