Donna J. Howat

Donna was born on July 18, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan and died on January 17, 2019 at Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak at the age of 69; she was of Dearborn Heights. Beloved wife of 40 years to Bruce. Loving mom of Shari (Russ) Jacobs and Steve Caramagno. Proud grammy of Austin and Makenzie. Dearest sister of Violet Marsh. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Ernest R. Hoffman and Myrtle I. (nee: Aiken) Gulliver and her brother’s Melvin and Stanley Hoffman. She will be missed by her dog London. Donna’s love in life was her family and she was always there for her grandchildren. She was a graduate of Mackenzie High School in Detroit and was a long-time employee of Kroger in Dearborn. Visitation is on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 3:30 pm until the time of the Service which will be on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 7:30 pm both at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). Memorial contributions to honor Donna’s life may be made to The American Heart Association, The Michigan Humane Society or to The Arthritis Foundation.
