Dorothy M. Alcala

Dorothy M. Alcala, age 81 of Southwest Detroit, passed away October 16th, 2020. Loving mother of the late Anthony Alcala. Dear sister of Louise (Lamar) Caldwell and Joe (Michaele) Martinez. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her son, Dorothy was preceded in death by her siblings Charlie, Vicky, Frank, Iggy, Mary, and Tony. The family will receive friends Friday October 23rd , 2020 from 9:30am until time of Mass 10am at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1721 Junction Ave., Detroit, MI. A private family interment will begin immediately following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Detroit. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dorothy’s name may be made to Holy Redeemer Grade School, 1711 Junction Ave., Detroit, MI 48209
