Dorothy M. Behnke

Born in Newport, Dorothy was the daughter of Raymond and Isabel (Baron) Anteau. She married the love of her life, Donald Behnke, on March 17, 1945 in Detroit. Sadly he preceded her in death October 11, 1975. Dorothy dedicated her life to being a homemaker. Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory a grandson Mike (Karen) Mucker of Flat Rock; 4 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; as well as two brothers: Dennis Anteau of Livonia and Russell Anteau of Jamestown, Kentucky; and 4 sisters: Bernice Longton of Wyandotte, Lucille (Donald) Wasson of Frankfort, Loretta Saber of Wyandotte and Shirley (Jim) Mason of Sacramento, California. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter Doris Kirschenheiter and a granddaughter Sandra Castello.
