Duane B. Gardner

Click on the tribute wall above to view Duane’s video tribute and service recording Duane was born on April 5, 1961 in Wyandotte, Michigan and died on April 8, 2021 at Beaumont Hospital-Trenton, after a hard fought battle with COVID-19. Duane was a lifelong resident of Trenton. Cherished husband of Mickey, they shared 37 wonderful years of marriage and friendship. Duane’s greatest love was his family. He was a devoted father to his children Katie (Jeremy) Carey and Daniel Gardner (Anna Duclo) and a beloved Papa to Colin, Lucy, Jacob, Brent and Aubrie. Duane was the dearest brother of Mary (Rick) Colonno, Patty (Larry) Molaski and David (Carlene) Gardner. He is survived by his nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends. Duane was preceded in death by his parents David and Margaret (nee: Parsons) Gardner, his brother Dale Gardner, and his nephew David Gardner. Duane was proud co-owner of Guardian Car Care in Woodhaven for many years. Visitation is on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 2 pm until 8 pm at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. The funeral service is on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 4 pm at the funeral home; Pastor Jonathan Locklear will officiate. A video tribute will be added, please check back. To those attending visitation and/or services at the funeral home for a loved one, in keeping with CDC and State of Michigan DHHS guidelines, masks and social distancing along with limitations on number of person(s) in the chapel must be followed and will be enforced.
