Edith May 'Aunt Edie' Beres-Stimson

Beres-Stimson, Edith M. November 1, 1924 – August 12, 2017. Daughter of Lucille Ellen Reece Fugate and Basil Reece. Sister of Melvin, Helen, George and Margaret. All have preceded her in death, Edith being last. Survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great greats. She dearly loved them all. She married Joe Beres in 1949. He passed in 1986. Step-son by Joe's previous marriage. Married Max Stimson 1995. He had 4 married children, 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He passed 1/24/2004. She called the stepchildren her "Adopted Kids" as she loved them all. In 2013 she fell and injured her back and could no longer live alone. Niece Diana and Don Ford took her in their home. Through their great care she survived. Joined Saint Paul Lutheran Church, Trenton. Got to know great, great nephew, Tristen and great, great niece, Andromeda. Met so many friends and enjoyed life again. She lived her life to the fullest and thanked God every day for his generous blessings. A memorial gathering will be at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Trenton on Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 10 am until the time of the memorial service at 11 am.
