Dearest grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 2. Dear brother of Cathy Kalafut. Ed graduated from Grosse Ile High School in 1952 and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy, stationed at Grosse Ile Naval Air Station. He worked for many years at the Grosse Ile Twp. Department of Public Works before retiring in 1993. Memorial Service Saturday, October 18, 2014, 10:30 am at St. James Episcopal Church, 25150 East River Rd., Grosse Ile.
