Edward Gene Banfield

Banfield, Edward "Gene", age 83, August 11, 2009 of Riverview. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth. Loving father of Linda (Bob) Gregory, Diane (Gene) Snow, Gary (Laura) Banfield and Terry Smith. Also survived by his grandchildren Lisa, Casey, Jeremy, Corey, Cody, Stephanie, Sarah and Hannah; his great grandchildren Kayla, Eastlin, Dayton, Aiden, Breely and Elizabeth; his sister Delores (Richard) Payne and his brother William Banfield. Gene was a long time truck driver and a resident of Riverview for over 50 years. He was a U. S. Navy WWII veteran serving aboard the LST 888.
