Edward Patrick Moore, a beloved figure in the Monroe community and one of the former owners and manager of Monroe Collision, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on July 10, 1955, in Monroe, Ed was the son of Lawrence "Red" and June (Millard) Moore. He married the love of his life, Tami Brancheau, October 31, 1975, and recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. Ed devoted his life not only to his successful career but also to the values of family, friendship, and the simple joys found in nature.
Ed was a proud graduate of Dundee High School, Class of 1973. Being at Monroe Collision, is where he became known for his dedication to quality and customer service. Ed's commitment to excellence earned him a reputation as a trusted member of the community.
Outside of his professional life, Ed had a deep love for the outdoors. His hobbies included hunting, working in the woods, running his sawmill, and taking trips up-north, where he found a sense of peace and fulfillment. He just recently completed a successful bear hunt. These passions reflected his adventurous spirit and deep appreciation for the natural beauty that surrounded him. Ed was the “go to guy” for anything from questions regarding cars, guns and life. And if he didn’t have the answer he’d certainly find it for you! Always ready to tell a good story and keep us all entertained.
Ed leaves behind a loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Tami; his brothers Terry Moore, Dan (Amanda) Moore; and his sister Mary (Pat) Wickenheiser; his mother-in-law, Anita Brancheau; and his in-laws - Ted (Vicki) Brancheau, Bob (Karen) Brancheau, Paulette (Don) Gilliland, Vicki (Darren) Hughes, and Randy (Jennifer) Brancheau; as well as many nieces and nephews. Each of these relationships brought joy and meaning to Ed's life, and his legacy will continue through the love he shared with them.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, including his sister Cathy (Earl) Navarre and brothers Tom (Sue) Moore and Larry Moore. He is also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ted Brancheau Sr., and brother-in-law Ken Sharp.
