Elaine Eva Hayes

Hayes, Elaine Eva, age 89 of Trenton, Michigan. Passed away on January 15, 2019 surrounded by family. She was born September 29, 1929 in Newport, Michigan. Daughter of the late Earl and Lenore La Fountain. She will be remembered by family and friends for her abundant love of animals. Elaine never met a stranger. She was quick with a smile that would melt your heart, along with a hug for everyone on her path. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth and daughter Ruth Ann Eastom. Elaine is survived by her daughter Mary K (Tom) Redmond, Susan (Neil) Arnold. Sons John, (Kathie), James (Kathy), David (Elaine) and Perry (Marsha). Visitation, Friday, January 18, 2019, 2-8 PM at the Ridge Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 2272 West Jefferson, Trenton, MI. In state, Saturday, January 19, 2019, 10 AM until funeral Mass, 11 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Trenton, MI. Interment St. Charles Cemetery.
