Eligio G. Parascandalo

Eligio was born in Malta on January 23, 1937 to Gerald and Maria (nee: Darmanin) Parascandalo and died on March 17, 2018 at Beaumont Hospital-Dearborn at the age of 81; he was of Taylor. Beloved husband of Agatha (nee: D'Agostino). Beloved father of Anna (Vince) Portelli and Flavia (Johnny) Young. Proud nannu to Mark (Tami) Portelli, Daniel (Bryn) Portelli, Rachael (Thomas) Smith, Natalie (Dennis) Jakub, Elizabeth Young and Rebecca Young and buz nannu to Deklan, Wynn and Calum. Dearest brother of Josephine Mizzi, Odette (Alfred) Pace, Rose (Daniel) Tier, Blanche Parascandalo and Gino (Antoinette) Parascandalo. Also survived by other loving family and friends. He will be missed by his cats Dominic and Jezebel. Visitation is on Monday from 5 – 9 pm and on Tuesday from 2 – 9 pm with a Rosary Tuesday at 7:30 pm all at The Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). Eligio will lie in state on Wednesday at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church at 9:30 am until the Funeral Liturgy which will begin at 10 am. The entombment will be at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Brownstown. Memorial contributions to celebrate Eligio's life may be made for Mass intentions.
