Ellis Wayne "Elmo" Valley

Ellis Wayne "Elmo" Valley, age 48 of Monroe, passed away Friday January 13, 2017. Born September 3, 1968 in Trenton, Ellis was the son of Ellis Eugene and Genevia (Rice) Valley. Sadly, his mother preceded him in death. Ellis worked for Wee Bee Scrappers and also worked doing various jobs throughout Monroe. He was a member at the Eagles and also enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool and watching football, especially his favorite team the Detroit Lions. Ellis leaves to cherish his memory his son Matthew James Lewis Lawson of Monroe, daughter Abeigail Paige Valley of Monroe, sister Carla (Douglas) Weurding of Baton Rouge, LA, father Ellis (Linda) Valley of New Tazewell, TN, step granddaughter Madison of Monroe and his girlfriend Michelle Cloum of Monroe.
