Frank Theodore Walsh, age 86, of Trenton. Loving Husband of the late Barbara (Scott) Walsh. Survived by his daughters Cheryl Wojtala (John) of Trenton, Noreen Walsh (Mark Willms) of Littleton, Colorado, Ellen Wood (Bryan) of The Woodlands,Texas, and grandchildren: Claire Willms, Gabrielle Wojtala, Cameron Wood, Leah Willms, Avery Wood, and Keaton Wood. A sister Ruth Flynn (Richard) of Jerome, Michigan. Frank was born in Detroit and graduated from McKenzie High School in 1949. He enlisted in the United States Army and served in occupied Japan. Upon his return, he began a 40 year career with Detroit Edison, first in appliance repair, and later as a service planner, determining where new overhead or underground electrical lines were needed throughout the Detroit metro area. In 1962, he met his wife Barbara, a Trenton resident, on a group trip sponsored by a Detroit Edison employee organization, to the Hawaiian Islands. They were married later that year and made their home in Trenton where they raised their family until Barbara passed away in 2004. Frank was an active member and long-time usher at St. Timothy Parish in Trenton and a volunteer for the Trenton Historical Museum & St. Vincent de Paul Society. In recent years he made his home at Courtyard Manor in Farmington Hills. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Bertha (Schoeffler) Walsh and a sister Helen Knott.
