Frederick Charles Schiller

Frederick Charles Schiller passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025, at the Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital. Fred was born in Detroit MI on September 27, 1932, to August Schiller and Margaret Kirstowski Schiller, the eighth of ten children.

Fred graduated from Detroit Lutheran High School in 1951, served in the US Army, and worked at Michigan Bell Telephone Company (AT&T) until he retired. Fred is preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers and sisters, Ruth Schiller Fabis, Carl Schiller, Henry Schiller, Leonard Schiller, Margaret Schiller, Loraine Schiller, Dorothy Schiller Trongo, William Schiller, and Richard Schiller. He is survived by 22 nieces and nephews.

Fred loved his friends at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, gardening, fishing, the Detroit Tigers, the music of Andre Rieu, and most importantly, Fred loved Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
