Gay Lynn Dolce

Gay Lynn Dolce, age 77 of Trenton, passed away February 18, 2021 with her family by her side. Born October 13, 1943 in Wyandotte, Gay was the daughter of Floyd and Margaret (McMillin) Duffy. A graduate of St. Patrick High School in Wyandotte, she married the love of her life, Joseph Dolce, on January 5, 1961. Gay was always the life of the party and family gatherings with her great sense of humor. She was always a fashion statement, receiving compliments everywhere she went. Gay enjoyed her “Oldies but Goodies” music while cruising around town. Spoiling her grandchildren was always a delight for her. Family vacations were to be treasured, like the family cruise to Alaska, celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Gay enjoyed traveling and covered the United States from East to West and North to South. She traveled to Europe and enjoyed many cruises with her husband and family members. Gay was especially proud of opening her Bridal Salon, Gay Lynn’s Traditional Bride, located in Riverview. She enjoyed selecting the merchandise and providing her clients with the “one of a kind” wedding dresses to make their wedding extra special. Gay enjoyed decorating, cookie bakes and lunch with her friends. Gay leaves to cherish her memory, Joseph, her husband of the past 60 years, children: Joe (Laurie) Dolce, Kim (Joe) Sporer and Dean (Kate) Dolce; as well as her grandchildren: Dr. Brianne (Dr. David Murray) Dolce, Alisyn (Kristin) Dolce, AJ Sporer and Erin Dolce. In accordance with Gay’s wishes, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care to the Martenson Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be planned for the spring of 2021.
