Gene Michael Schenavar

Gene Michael Schenavar, age 84 of Erie, passed away December 11, 2022 in his home.

Born January 13, 1938 in Wyandotte, Gene was the son of Merlin and Irene (Horvath) Schenavar. A graduate of Monroe High School, he worked over 30 years as a Special Machine Builder at Premier Industries. Gene was a member of Monroe County Rod and Gun Club, Canvasback Gun Club as was an avid supporter of Ducks Unlimited. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and Trap Shooting. Gene also enjoyed bowling and bowled on many leagues at Monroe Sport Center.

Gene leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Sue (Robert) Pado; two grandchildren: Shawn Smith and Dakota Smith; two great grandchildren: Lilly Smith and Colton Smith; as well as a brother Paul Schenavar. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jack Schenavar.
