George William Innes

George William Innes was born on June 21, 1941, and passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, at the age of 84.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sandra Innes, his parents, George and Viola Innes and his brother Ron Innes.

George was a loving father to Kelli (Doug) Mans and Jason (Judy) Innes, and a proud grandfather to Madelyn, Meghan, Nick, Miles, Lulu, Nina, Matthew, and Jackson.

He was also a cherished great-grandfather to Luka Kurili.

He is survived by his brother, Dan Innes. George is also survived by his nieces and nephews, along with many other loving family members and friends.

George proudly served his country in the United States Army from May 1966 - May 1968.

His time in the Army was a source of lasting pride, reflecting his strong character and lifelong dedication to family, country, and community.

He was a true lover of life and spent a great deal of time enjoying the company of dear friends at the Wayne County Sportsman’s Club.
