Gerald Jelsomeno

Gerald "Jerry" Jelsomeno, born on March 21, 1942 in Wyandotte, MI passed away on October 26, 2025 in Riverview at the age of 83. Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathleen Kane Jelsomeno, his parents, Ignazio and Stella Jelsomeno, his brother Joseph Jelsomeno and his sister Janet Elaine Smith.

He is survived by his loving children Julie (James) LaBell, William (Jeanne) Jelsomeno and Michael Jelsomeno. Jerry was a proud grandfather to Eileen (Brandon) Keina, Nick (Pili) LaBell and Jerry LaBell. Additionally, Jerry just welcomed his first two great-grandchildren Luna LaBell and Rowan Keina. Jerry also leaves behind his companion Phyllis Borman of Trenton, who has been by his side the last 16 years. She has been an unwavering support system in his fight against Parkinson's.

Jerry's memory will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Jerry may be made directly to the Parkinson's Foundation.
