Gerard "Jerry" Skelly

Gerard "Jerry" Skelly, age 88 of Woodhaven, passed away peacefully Thursday December 16th, 2021. Loving husband of the late Diane. Dear father of Victor Skelly. Jerry LOVED his friends and his dogs, Alex and Cocoa. He enjoying going out to social gatherings such as breakfast and lunch. Everyone he met, even once, it's like they've known him for years. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and worked for Ford Motor Company as a system analyst for many years. Jerry was an established organist and music director at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Trenton and he played the organ at The Martenson Funeral Home. He also volunteered his time at Beaumont Trenton Hospital. Visitation will be held on Monday December 20th, 2021 from 2:00PM- 8:00PM, Vigil Service 7:00PM, at the Trenton Chapel- Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton, MI 48183. On Tuesday December 21st, 2021 the family will receive friends from 10:00AM until time of Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 2901 Manning St., Trenton, MI 48183, with military honors to follow.
