Gilberto Garza Jr., age 83 of Detroit, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.
Loving dad to Donna Trevino (Jeff), Jacqueline (Ruben) Garza-Colon, Leticia (Manuel) Garcia, Carlota Garza, and the late Arialicia Garza. Devoted grandpa to 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild. Cherished brother to 4 of his siblings.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. Allen Park, MI 48101, from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Rosary time is still pending. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025, at St. Frances Cabrini, 9000 Laurence Avenue, Allen Park, MI 48101 at 10:00 am. He will lie in state at 9:30 am.
