Gina Quimby

Gina Quimby passed away on October 31, 2026, at Corewell Health Trenton. She was born on February 28, 1933, in Italy.

Gina will be remembered as a devoted woman whose family was her love in life. She worked as a crossing guard for the City of Detroit Public Schools, serving her community with care and dedication. Outside of work, she found joy in flower gardening, especially growing roses and tulips, which reflected the warmth and beauty she brought to those around her.

Above all, Gina treasured her family. She is survived by her son Wesley (the late Loretta); and her daughters Katherine and Linda. Her love for them was at the center of her life, and that love will continue to be felt in the memories they carry forward.

Gina was preceded in death by parents, her brothers, and her sisters.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9, 2026, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at The Allen Park Chapel - Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101. The funeral service will follow at 5:00 PM at the funeral home; Fr. Marc Gawronski will officiate.

Gina will be remembered with love for her caring spirit, her dedication to her family, and the simple joys she found in her garden and in the people she loved most.
