Glen "Lefty" Malone

Glen Travis Malone (92) of Trenton, MI passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.

Glen (Lefty) was born to parents Cecil and Lennie, on September 23, 1931 in Hartford, Illinois. In 1957 he married Carol (MacDonald) and they had three children Kathy, Jeffrey, and Mark.

Glen was a 1949 graduate of Trenton High School and was a lifelong Trenton resident. Glen retired from McLouth Steel in 1990 after 40 years.

Lefty was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fly fishing in northern Michigan and made several hunting trips out west with lifelong friends.

In retirement, Glen and Carol enjoyed living in the Michaywe community in Gaylord, MI where he discovered the game of golf. They enjoyed the winter months golfing and spending time with friends in Gulf Shores, AL.

Glen was predeceased by parents, Cecil and Lennie and brother Cecil. He is survived by his wife Carol, children Kathy (Jack Barry), Jeffrey (Kimberly), Mark (Jennifer) and grandchildren Riley, MacCulley, Kiera, Grace, Audrey, and Margaret.
