Gloria Lambrix, a beloved matriarch and devoted homemaker, left this world on October 14, 2025, at the age of 91, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on May 16, 1934, in Lincoln Park, Michigan, she was the daughter of John and Margaret (Schmidt) Mullman. Gloria’s life was a testament to her unwavering faith and profound love for her family.
Gloria’s journey began with a strong foundation of education, having proudly graduated from high school. She married the love of her life, Howard Lambrix on April 16, 1954. Sadly he preceded her in death in 2009. Throughout her life, she embraced her roles with grace, becoming a dedicated homemaker who poured her heart into nurturing and caring for her family. Her devout Christian faith guided her actions and instilled in her family a sense of love, compassion, and community.
Gloria found immense joy in spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply. As a nurturing grandmother to 20 grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to 41 great-grandchildren, Gloria created a legacy of love that will forever touch the hearts of those she leaves behind. The laughter and love shared during family gatherings are memories that will be treasured for generations to come.
She is survived by her loving family: her children Pat (Kate) Lambrix, Fred (Kim) Lambrix, Denise (Eric) Martin, Tom Lambrix, Barb (Paul) Logsdon, Joe (Heidi) Lambrix, and Jeff (Shannon) Lambrix. Her sister, Pat Mandernach, also survives her, along with a legacy of vitality and warmth.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her son Ron Lambrix and son Kenny Lambrix, a daughter-in-law Naoma Lambrix along with three siblings. Their absence leaves a profound void, but Gloria’s strength and love continue to inspire all who knew her.
Gloria Lambrix's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with threads of love, faith, and family. She will be remembered not only for the impact she had on those close to her but also for the warmth and kindness she shared with everyone she encountered. As we remember Gloria, we celebrate the indelible mark she has left on our hearts, forever guiding us with her spirit.
