Helen Louise Terlecki, aged 92, of Trenton, MI, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025, in the home she cherished for 71 years. Helen was a devoted wife to the late Michael Terlecki Jr., sharing 61 years of marriage. She was a loving mother, a proud grandmother, and a treasured great-grandmother—a true Proverbs 31 woman. Helen lived her life with quiet strength and unwavering faith. Her greatest joy was her family and her deep trust in God. She spent her days in prayer, offering encouragement and steadfast love to those around her. Known for her generous hospitality, Helen made sure no one left her home hungry, always insisting on feeding everyone who came through her door. She is survived by her children: Michael Terlecki III of Trenton, MI, and his former wife Deborah Terlecki Gsellmeier (John); Danny Terlecki (Shirley) of Trenton, MI; Randal Terlecki of Trenton, MI; Gary Terlecki and daughters-in-law Threasa Terlecki and Donna Harrison of Trenton, MI; and Cathy Terlecki-Lee (Floyd Lee) of Williamston, MI. Helen was blessed with 11 grandchildren: David Crisi (Sara), Colleen McCurley (Scott), Ryan Terlecki (Terri), Rebecca Terlecki Darnall (Ted), Joshua Lee (Anabel), Hanna Lee (James), Chandler Lee, Randi Jo VanHorn (late husband James), William Harrison (Kimberly), Kelly Harrison (Stacie), and Kara Pagnucco (Steve). She also leaves behind beloved great-grandchildren: Thalia Terlecki, Nolan Terlecki, Shay Terlecki, Sloane Terlecki, Deacon McCurley, Quentin McCurley, Silas Pagnucco, Isabella Lee, and Tristan Lee, Arieonna Chmielewski, Madison & Allison Kimball, Joslyn Harrison, Gavin, Roman, & Tarron Day, Brice, Chance, & Gianni Coleman and two great great grandchildren Mason Kimball and Karson Chmielewski. Helen will be fondly remembered for her warm Southern hospitality, her generous spirit in feeding all who visited, her never-ending fish fries, and her loving personality. As she rests, awaiting Christ’s return, her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the love she shared. Family and friends are invited to visit at Martenson Funeral Home in Trenton, MI, on Friday, June 13, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM for visitation.
