Herbert I. Newman

Born in Maybee, Herbert was the son of Fred & Caroline (Irion) Newman. Herbert worked long hard hours as a farmer, starting at the age of 4 on the family farm. Herbert also was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Maybee. Herbert is survived by nieces and nephews: Ralph (Mary) Snider, Hazel (George) Richardson, Richard Newman, Walter Newman and Debra (John) Deny; as well as many great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Milton Newman, Walter Newman, Leonard Newman and two sisters: Lidia Snyder and Maybell Beyer.
