Inez Morton "Granny"

In Loving Memory of Inez Marie Morton (Anderson), also known as Inez Bettis Inez Marie Morton, 94, of Westland, Michigan, peacefully passed away in her sleep on Sunday, May 11, 2025—Mother’s Day. She was born on July 31, 1930, in Cleveland, Tennessee, to Rueben Anderson and Florence Hamby.

Inez was preceded in death by her three beloved sons: Robert Lee Bettis Jr., Johnny Dean Bettis, and Tommy Rueben Bettis. She is survived by her two daughters, Sheila Lynn Boyless and Bonny Hall (Bettis), her grandchildren: Amber, Ronnie Lee, Michelle, Robert, Crystal, Heather, and Nicole and several great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her grandson Aaron.

Inez is preceded in death by her siblings, Edna and Edward Anderson.

Known for her warm heart and unwavering love for her family, Inez's legacy lives on through the lives she touched. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

A gathering to honor Inez's life will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Martenson Funeral Home, 10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101. Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM and continue until 7:00 PM, with a service at 5:00 PM. For more information, please contact the funeral home at (313) 386-6600
