Meyer, Irene B. (Bachor), age 81, of Allen Park. Died July 12, 2009. Beloved wife of Robert for sixty years. Dearest mother of Thomas (Maralee) of Ypsilanti, Barbara (Joseph Lucas) of Dearborn and Robert (Shirlee) of Portland, Oregon. Devoted grandmother of Rachel (Jim), Sarah, Benjamin (Tasha), Mary, Joseph, and Jacob Meyer; Elizabeth, John (Beth) and Robert Lucas; and Emily, Alyson and Michael Meyer. Proud great-grandma to Katie, Emma and Natalie; Xavier and Kaidin; and John and Samuel. Dear sister of John (Theresa) Bachor, Jane (John) Ingrody, and the late Phyllis. Dear sister-in-law of Ruth Burton. Irene was the daughter of John and Helen Bachor of Dearborn. She was a graduate of St. Alphonsus High School and St. Joseph Mercy School of Nursing. Irene was a long-time member of St. Frances Cabrini Parish and her St. Al's Girls' Club for over fifty years.
