Jake McGowan was born on November 1, 1993 and died on February 28, 2021 at the age of 27. Beloved son of Jerry and Jacki McGowan. Cherished brother of Jesse and Josh McGowan. Loving grandson of Jerry and Millie McGowan, the late John Kane and of Judy Kane. Dearest nephew of John (Michele) McGowan, Brian (Jenna) McGowan, Jeff (Kim) Kane, Josh (Renae) Kane. Also survived by his cousins; Wade, Wyatt, Abbey, Anna, Cole, Angelina, Ella and Emmett. Jake graduated from Huron High School in New Boston; he loved all sports but excelled at hockey, basketball, baseball and soccer. Jake was adventurous and loved to live on the edge. He was a certified SCUBA diver and was interested in pursuing a trade in underwater welding. He loved hunting, fishing, biking, boating and exploring in the woods near our home and up north. Jake was a kind soul and very loyal to his friends and family, often shared with those less fortunate and would give you the shirt off his back.
