Gandol, James A. Age 89 of Grosse Ile. Born October 18, 1925 in Dearborn, MI and died November 30, 2014 in Trenton, MI. Beloved husband of Phyllis and the late Dolores. Loving father of Jim (Jacquelyn), Mark (Tabitha) and the late Brian. Proud grandfather of Kiana. Step-father of Kenneth (Janet) Godon. Step-grandfather of Lauren and Lucas. Dearest brother of Margaret Nuccio, Anthony (Bea), Mary Salerno, Ed (Rebecca) and the late Philip. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. James graduated from Fordson High School and was the founder of Gandol Construction and Door Company. Memorial contributions to honor his memory may be made to Penrickton Center for Blind Children or to the charity of the donor's choice.
