He worked production at Tecumseh Products and then for Nagel Percision. James enjoyed time spent with his family, especially treasure hunts with his grandchildren and attending their school plays and concerts. James leaves to treasure his memory his children: Melissa Robinson and Lauren Hammac; grandchildren: Kira Robinson, Kloe Robinson, Gage Klingensmith and Abigail Klingensmith; as well as two siblings: Ed (Brenda) Hammac, Sue (Mark) Fackelman; and his former wife Diane Janes, who was always with him until the end.
