James F. Flachsmann

Flachsmann, James F. Born July 1, 1948 and died October 9, 2014 at his home at the age of 66. Beloved husband of 46 years to Peggy. Loving father of James F. (Elizabeth) Flachsmann, II and Melanie (Joseph) Gherardini. Proud grandpa of Adam, Andrew and Dominic. Dearest brother of William H. "Woody" (Sherry) and Michael (Rosanne) Flachsmann. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents William and Mary Jane (nee: Owen) Flachsmann. James graduated in 1966 from Trenton High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Adrian College; he married Margaret "Peggy" Hackett on November 8, 1968 at St. Anne Chapel on Grosse Ile. James was the former owner of DMF, Inc. "Ziebart Rustproofing" in Ashtabula, Ohio. Memorial contributions to honor his memory may be made to the donor's choice.
