James "Jim" Belteky

Click on the tribute wall above to view Jim's video tribute. James “Jim” Belteky, age 86 of Allen Park, passed away peacefully April 7th, 2021. Born January 24th, 1935 in Detroit to the late Julius and Rebecca Belteky. Loving husband of Jean. Dear father of Christine Marie (Fred) Karam and Kimberly Jean (Walter) Norman. Proud grandfather of Everett, Hannah, Avery, Chloe, and Alex. Also survived by a brother Julius and his furry canine companion Ruby. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his siblings Louis, Margaret, and Bob. Jim proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Military Police (MP) Officer. He continued to proudly serve and protect his country and community as a member of the Detroit Police Department for 25 years. Visitation will take place Sunday April 11th, 2021 from 2pm until Funeral Service 4pm, at the Allen Park Chapel- The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd.
