James "Jim" Crews

Jim was born on November 28, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan and passed away on May 13, 2025 at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital at the age of 67; he was of Lincoln Park. Beloved dad of Eric and Jeffrey (Krysten). Proud grandpa to a grandson who is on the way. Dearest brother of Peggy (Pete) Molter. He was preceded in death by his parents Emmett and Billie Jo and his beloved dog, Duke. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Jim attended Lincoln Park High School and was retired from US Steel; his love in life was his family and he enjoyed traveling. Visitation is on Monday, May 19, 2025 from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Service on Monday, May 19, 2025 at 1 pm both at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. Memorial contributions to honor his life may be made to Jeffrey Crews or Eric Posler.
