James S. Jurecki

Jurecki, James “Jim” S. Age 77. September 21, 2010 of Grosse Ile. Son of the late Steve and Vincenta. Loving husband of 56 years to Beverly. Dearest father of Steve (Elaina), the late Jimmy, Mike (Kristina), the late David, Thom, Maria (Luke) Krauss and Ray (Amy). Cherished papa to Jake and Andrew, Jimmy, Michael and Jesse, Tyler and Mia, Gabe and Caleb, Austin and Kelsie, Hunter, Lindsey and Griffin. Also survived by his sisters Donna (David) Van Every and Dolores (Bill) Therkilen. Jim retired from Ford Motor Company and was a long time member of the Grosse Ile Athletic Boosters, The Lion’s Club and served on the Grosse Ile Police Commission. Jim loved boating, hunting and fishing yet his true joy in life was spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren and many others he considered his family. Services: In State Saturday, September 25, 2010 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 21599 Parke Lane, Grosse Ile, MI 48138 until funeral liturgy 10:30 am.
