James W. Semeniuk, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025, in Taylor, Michigan, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born on June 11, 1941, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Jim's journey was one marked by dedication, resilience, and an unwavering love for his family.

For 47 years, Jim made his mark as a produce manager at Farmer Jack, where he was not only known for his exceptional skills but also for the warmth he brought to those around him. His colleagues and customers alike appreciated his commitment to quality and service, and he created many friendships throughout his career—a testament to his friendly disposition and caring nature.

Jim’s family was his pride and joy, and he poured his heart into being a father to his six children: Todd, Martin (Karen), Shawn (Dawn), Terry (Alina), Tracy (Herman) Runkis, and Patti Dominguez. He cherished every moment spent with them, celebrating their milestones and offering unwavering support through life's challenges. His legacy lives on through his ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of whom were fortunate enough to experience his love and guidance. He took great delight in sharing stories, laughter, and life lessons with the younger generations, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.

He is also survived by his sister, Shari (Ernest) Riddle, who held a special place in his life, sharing memories and moments that only siblings can understand.

Jim was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mildred Semeniuk, nee Franklin, whose love and partnership were the foundation of his life. He often spoke of her with great affection, and her memory remained a source of strength for him.

Jim's parents, William and Marie Semeniuk, also welcomed him into their eternal embrace, having instilled in him the values that guided his life—hard work, kindness, and dedication to family.

As we remember James W. Semeniuk, we celebrate a life filled with laughter, love, and a profound commitment to those he adored. His legacy is not solely of accomplishments but of the warmth of family ties and the love that binds us all. His spirit will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him, and he will be deeply missed by all.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 10915 Allen Road, 48101.
