Jean Bussell

Jean Bussell (nee: Hobday) was born on July 10, 1932 in River Rouge, Michigan and died on March 23, 2021 at Beaumont Hospital Dearborn at the age of 88; she was of Trenton. On September 8, 1951 she married George “Roy” Bussell; together they celebrated nearly 70 years of marriage. She is the beloved wife of George “Roy”. Cherished mom of the late Gary Bussell, Larry (Lori) Bussell, Nancy Bussell, the late Jeff and to his wife Cherie Bussell and Lesley (Dave) Klaiber. Jean is survived by ten grandchildren and is the great grandmother to four plus two on the way. Also survived by other loving family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Percy and Mary (nee: Morrow) Hobday. Jean’s family was her love in life; she also loved to go to her cottage in Gladwin, Michigan. Visitation is on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 3 – 9 pm with the funeral service on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 9 am both at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton; Fr. David Lesniak will officiate. Interment will be at Woodmere Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan. Memorial contributions to honor Jean's life may be made as the donor chooses. To those attending visitation and/or services for a loved one, in keeping with CDC and State of Michigan DHHS guidelines, masks and social distancing along with limitations on number of person(s) in the chapel must be followed and will be enforced. We are not able to allow food in the funeral home at this time. Thank you for understanding.
