Jeri L. Bacarella, age 77 of Monroe, a devoted and cherished member of her community, passed away on June 14, 2026. Born on March 6, 1949, in Toledo, she was the daughter of Raymond and Ruth (Compora) Rosinski. Jeri lived a life full of warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those she loved. A proud graduate of Monroe High School, Jeri’s early years in education laid a foundation for a lifelong commitment to service and care. She became the steadfast Office Manager for Boysville of Monroe, where her professionalism and compassionate nature left a lasting impact on colleagues and those who benefitted from her work. She was also a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Monroe. Jeri’s home was filled with love, laughter, and her passion for animals. She treasured the companionship of her beloved cat, Max, who was a constant source of comfort and joy in her life. Her gentle spirit and nurturing heart were evident in the way she cherished his companionship, reflecting her deep empathy and kindness. Family was at the core of Jeri’s life. She is survived by her loving daughter Amy (Trent) Tayler; as well as her granddaughters: Kate (Gabriel Slusser) Tayler, and Emily Tayler and beloved niece, Taylor Ross. Their bond was a testament to her nurturing spirit, filled with countless moments of love, support, laughter, and fun that shaped their lives profoundly. The memories they share with Jeri are treasured beyond words. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Gunner Ross, and infant brother Michael Scott Rosinski. Jeri leaves behind an immense love for her family. For those who knew her, she always was quick with something witty to make you smile and laugh. She will be missed by her presence and crazy memes she shared to lighten people’s day. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal love of everyone who knew her.
