Listen to Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry Snow, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left us on February 27, 2026. Born on April 25, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan, Jerry was a true son of the Motor City. He spent his career as a talented designer at Chrysler, where his creativity and effort contributed significantly to the automotive industry.

Jerry was more than just a designer; he was a man of warmth and laughter. Known for his very funny and joyful personality, he brought light into every room he entered. His super stubborn and opinionated nature was often a source of playful debate amongst friends and family, but it was this very spirit that endeared him to those closest to him.

A devoted husband for 26 wonderful years, Jerry shared his life with his beloved wife, Vickie. Together, they made countless memories, including their adventures visiting greenhouses far and wide, a shared passion that highlighted their love for nature. Jerry was also an avid gardener, possessing a remarkable green thumb that allowed him to cultivate beauty in both his garden and in the hearts of his family.

His interests were as varied as they were cherished. Jerry enjoyed traveling with Vickie, indulging in coffee at local diners, and engaging his mind with brain-teasers, games, and puzzles. His love for playing computer games, especially the beloved Dino-Mite, offered him joy and relaxation in his free time. Yet, above all, his family and grandkids were his pride and joy, bringing him boundless happiness.

Jerry's final days were marked by a long and arduous battle that he faced with unwavering dignity. Surrounded by his loving family, he passed peacefully at home, leaving a rich legacy of love, laughter, and strength.

He leaves behind his cherished wife, Vickie Snow, and his beloved children: Shawn (Jane) Snow, Ryan (Gabby) Snow, Kelli Kapp-Heifner (Matt), and Rachel (Brandon) Brown. His grandchildren, Jax, Brody, Charlotte, Emma, Wyatt, and Lucy, brought him immense joy, and their laughter will forever echo in the memories that they shared.

Jerry was predeceased by his first wife, Sharon; his parents, Edward and Wanda Sosnowski; and his brother, James. Their memories will remain a part of his enduring legacy as he is remembered by those who loved him dearly.
