Jerry W. Blanton

Jerry was born in Kentucky on March 18, 1954 and died on September 16, 2017 at the age of 63; he was of Allen Park. Beloved husband of 37 years to Therese. Loving father of the late Harold, the late Jered, Wendy Blanton (Tim Bohn), Jeffrey (Shalimar) and Kimberly (Adam) Ball. Proud grandpa of Sebastian, Eliza, Clara, Alexander and Madeline. Cherished son of Harold and Ruby. Dearest brother of Robert (Trina), Shirley Surber, Nancy (Mike) Hughes and Larry (Debbie) Moore. He was much loved by many people. He will be missed by his dog Scarlet. Jerry's grandchildren and family were his love in life and he enjoyed going for rides on his motorcycle. Visitation Thursday 2 – 8 pm at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). Funeral service Friday 10 am at the funeral home.
