Jerry Wayne “JR” Riley, age 66 of Trenton, passed away January 20, 2023.
Born October 12, 1956 in Paducah, Kentucky, Jerry was the son of Terrell and Rose (Stowe) Riley. He faithfully served our country in the United States Navy. Jerry married the love of his life, Diane Dembowski, on October 11, 1986. Jerry was a “Jack of All Trades, Master of Most, he worked as an Iron Worker, sheeting buildings on construction sites, then as a Welder for Dearborn Fabricating and then for Bergstrom’s HVAC. An avid outdoorsman he was a member of the Downriver Walleye Association, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting guns, but his most treasured times were those spent with his family and many, many, many friends.
Jerry leaves to cherish his memory, Diane, his wife of the past 36 years; children: Shannon Cannon, Ben Wheat, Sara Riley and Carly Riley; eight grandchildren: Benjamin, Christopher, Ambriela, Jenna, Colin, Conor, Bronson and Jackson with one great grandchild on the way; as well as a brother Terrell “T” (Cindy) Riley. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents.
