Jo Anne Martin

Jo Anne Martin of Taylor, Michigan, affectionately known as “Everybody’s Aunt Bo”, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025 at the age of 79. Cherished sister of George (Artie) Martin and Billie (the late Jack) Hanson. Beloved aunt of Karey (Patrick) Brennan, Nicole (Jim) Brewer, Jessica (Jason) Crutchfield, and William Martin. Loving great-aunt of Hunter (Jessica) Hanson and great-great aunt of Avery Hanson. Lifelong friend of Lynn Patow. Jo Anne is also survived by her caring “sons of her heart” Scott (Jane) Pashby and Steve (Douglas Sand) Trimper. Jo Anne was preceded in death by her parents George and Leona Martin and her sister Julia (the late James) Nardi. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her generosity, acts of kindness, welcoming heart, and kind soul.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 10915 Allen Road, 48101. The family will we holding a Celebration of Life in Jo Anne’s honor at a later date. The details will be updated once a date is known.
