Joan Carol Gutekunst

Born in Wyandotte, Joan was the daughter of John and Earlene (Reau) Blessing. A graduate of Lincoln Park High School, she married the love of her life, William Gutekunst, in July of 1966. Sadly he preceded her in death January 3, 2018.

Joan leaves to cherish her memory her children: William (Lori) Gutekunst and Scott (Teresa) Gutekunst; 4 grandchildren: Scotty, Brenden, Shelby and Sydnie; as well as 4 siblings: William Blessing, Beverly Beri, Darlene Leidich and Patricia Jacques. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and her goddaughter Stacey. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 7 siblings: Joyce, Robert, John, Katherine, Frieda, Gerald and Howard.
