John S. Wilkie

John Samuel Wilkie, age 78 of Grosse Ile, MI, passed away on December 7, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Wilkie for 55 years. Loving father of John Wilkie and Todd Wilkie. Proud grandfather of Nathan, Mollie and Lily. Dear brother of Sandra (late Bill), Dennis (late Molly), Ron (Sue), and Ruth (late Mark). Survived also by many loving nieces and nephews.

John was a long standing member of the downriver business community and the designer and

architect for many of southeastern Michigan’s iconic buildings. He will be forever remembered

for his artistic skills and for his published poetry.
