Joseph "Joe King" Raidl

Joseph "Joe King" Raidl, a cherished member of the Dearborn community, passed away peacefully in Dearborn, Michigan, on September 13, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on November 12, 1950, in Dearborn, he was a proud lifelong resident of the town he loved dearly.

Joe was a dedicated and long-time employee of the Dearborn Public School System, where his contributions were felt by many. His commitment to education reflected his belief in the power of knowledge and the impact it can have on the lives of young people. A graduate of Edsel Ford  High School, Joe's roots in this community ran deep, and he cherished the friendships he built throughout his life.

In addition to his career, Joe proudly served in the United States Army National Guard, showcasing his dedication to his country. His sense of duty and responsibility was a hallmark of his character, earning him the respect of those around him.

Joe was known for his storytelling ability; he always had a tale ready to share, often bringing laughter and joy to those listening. His warm personality made him a friend to many, and his kind heart touched the lives of countless individuals.

He is survived by his beloved family, including his brother Bob Raidl and sister Rosanne (Andy) Paluch. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews: Jeff, Megan, Jennifer, Karen, Laura, Kym, and Ashley, who will remember him fondly. Joe will be missed by his loving dog, Hunter, who was always by his side.

Joe was preceded in death by his brothers Frank and Jerry, his sister Patty, and his parents Frank and Annie Raidl. Their memories will forever be cherished as a part of his legacy.
