Joyce L. Papalas

Joyce L. Papalas, sadly passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on August 12, 1942, Joyce will be remembered with love by those who knew her and by the family she held so close throughout her life.

She leaves behind her beloved sons, John Papalas, Robert (Nicole) Papalas, and Patrick (Kim) Papalas. She is also survived by her sisters, Janis Rader, who was married to the late Bud Rader, and Donna Madgar. She was also survived by her 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The love of family was a lasting part of Joyce’s life, and her memory will continue in the hearts of those who carry her with them each day.

Joyce was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara (Edward) Furcak. As her family remembers her, they do so with gratitude for her life, her presence, and the bond she shared with them.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial Gathering on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at The Trenton Chapel - Martenson Family Of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd, Trenton, MI 48183. A Memorial Service will follow at 5:00 p.m. at the same location.
