Juanita Brock, née Murr, born on May 22, 1938, in Harlan, Kentucky, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on May 10, 2026. She lived a full and meaningful life marked by devotion to her family and cherished relationships with those who knew her best.
Juanita was the beloved wife of the late Donald, with whom she shared many treasured years. As a daughter of the late Raymond Amos and Lovie Murr (née Lee), she carried forward a legacy of love and resilience. Her siblings preceded her in death, including her brother Charles Murr and sister Lily Harris, though she is survived by her brother Doug Murr who remains a cherished part of her family's circle.
Throughout her life, Juanita was a pillar of strength and kindness to her children: Anita (Ted) Richardson, Timothy Ratcliff, and Tom Brock. Her devotion extended joyfully to her grandchildren Heather (Duane), Brandon (Meagan), Dylan, Riley, Andrea, Angela, and Jonathon, all of whom were deeply blessed by her love and guidance. Her great-grandchildren Jillian, Mira, Jacob, Bella, Leslie, Julieanna, Jane, John, and Lily carried forward her spirit through their lives.
Her warmth and generosity touched many others, including various loving family and friends whose lives were enriched by her presence.
