Juanita Collier

Juanita Collier, of Trenton, Michigan, entered into eternal life on January 24, 2022. She was born December 16, 1926 in Speight, Kentucky. During World War II, she left her beloved Appalachian Mountains to assist in the war effort welding B-17 bomber parts in Detroit in 1942. She is survived by two sisters, Dottie Lou Willis and Zonie Jo Bryant, two sons, Charles (Cindy) Collier and James (Sandra) Collier, and many nieces and nephews. As the proud grandparent of 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 15 great great grandchildren, her family was her pride and joy. She is preceded in death by her husband, Millard M. Collier, daughter Patsy Ann Elkins, sons Thomas Allen Collier and Johnny Ray Collier, and sisters Edna Collier and Floella Johnson. Her strength and independent nature will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
