Karie Renee Crisp, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, niece and friend, passed away on March 8, 2026, at Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Born on April 22, 1959, Karie brought joy and love to the lives of those around her. She was a proud graduate of Dearborn High School in Michigan, Karie poured a spirit of warmth and compassion into every aspect of life. Throughout her years, she demonstrated a passion for exploring the vibrancy of life, often found enjoying her time at the casino, dining out, or indulging in a shopping outing.
Karie's family was her greatest treasure. Her sons, Nicholas (Mederise) and Nathan (Christina), provided her immense pride, and her granddaughter Nicolina held a special place in her heart. She shared a close bond with her beloved dog Frank, whose companionship added joy to her daily life. Karie's brother, Robert Ergonis, and her uncle, Samuel Ergonis, also cherished her deeply. She will be missed by many other loving nieces, nephews, great nephews other family and friends.
Karie joins her deceased parents Donald Ergonis and Toylene Franco and her brother, Michael Ergonis in rest. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Visitation will be held at The Allen Park Chapel - Martenson Family of Homes in Allen Park, Michigan, on Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 11:00 am until 9:00pm, with a funeral service the same day at 4:00 PM. All who knew and loved Karie are invited to come to honor her during this difficult time. Memorial contributions to honor her life may be made to the family
