Kathleen Rose Mulpas

Kathleen Rose (Lanker) Mulpas March 18,1944-September 2,2026

Kathleen was known as Katie as a child and Kathy as she grew older (and her husband often called her Rosie). Kathy was born March 18, 1944 in Ypsilanti, MI to Stanley Vincent Lanker and Ella Elizabeth (Kelly) Lanker. When she was very young her family moved to Monroe, MI. Kathy attended St Mary grade school and Kathy was also a graduate of Saint Mary Academy in Monroe (1962).

Kathy married Larry Francis Mulpas on August 20, 1966. They had four children. As a family they enjoyed many camping trips and swimming in their backyard pool. Kathy enjoyed landscaping and planting beautiful flowers around their home.

Kathy will be missed by her devoted husband Larry Mulpas, her children, Ann (Mulpas) Strickland (Dan), Jill (Mulpas) Thompson (Jamie), Michelle (Mulpas) Kopke (Jon), and Larry Mulpas III (Tammy). Her grandchildren Patrick Mulpas, Joshua Thompson, Jenna Thompson, Jessica Thompson, Phoebe Kopke and two great-grandchildren will remember Kathy’s love and kindness.

Kathy’s family will have a Celebration of Life at later date to be determined.
