Katie Wooten

Katie was born on March 11, 1928 in Lower Elk, Kentucky and went home to be with the Lord on March 8, 2018 at the age of 89; she was of Wyandotte. Beloved wife of the late Frank. Loving mom of Rhonda (Philip) Hazey, David (Debbie) Wooten and Janice (Stephen) Nehez. Proud grandmother of Chandra (Jared), Philip, David (Rachel), Monica, and Ashley. Great grandmother of Milo, Skylar, Mason, Lance, Caden, Bobby, Jami, Charlii and Aleena. Dearest sister of Dennis (Betty Sue). Also survived by her nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents J.W. and Maudie (nee: Gooslin) Justice, seven sisters and six brothers. Visitation is on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 2 – 8 pm with the service on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 6 pm both at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). A private entombment will be at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions to honor Katie's life may be made to The Servants of Jesus of The Divine Mercy.
